Pop`s Honey Fried Chicken in Terrell

A Terrell tradition?! Passing through town. My teenage sons did not eat their 3 pc chicken meals....they didn't eat the fries either. Great friendly employees but something was off today. This place is great for seniors.

Great prices and incredible selection of home cooked food. Family owned and I love eating here. Best place for a family to eat real food affordably.

First time here, we will be back! Everything we had was great, except the bread. The service isn't the friendliest but works for what it is I guess. The food is more than enough to make up for it. Yum!!

I've visited this place since I was young with my family/church family and anytime I'm in Terrell or think of Terrell I always think of here. Sunday dinner after church this is the place to go. Its busy but definitely worth it and the staff make you feel at home

I have to say we love this place. We dont go to Terrell much but when we do we go here. The fries chicken is amazing but so is the rest of the food. The pricing is crazy cheap. It is cheaper for me to eat here and get a full meal then to go eat fast food and the service is just as quick of not quicker. This is one place you do not want to miss out on if you are in the area.

My first time there. I'm impressed. Very good quality fried chicken that won't leave you broke. All these other places charge so much. I mean it's only chicken! So I will definitely be back here. Good fast service too

Chicken is great. Pinto beans too. Mac n cheese was a little bland.

POP's is a long standing buffet that is consistent! It's nothing special, but it's inexpensive, consistent, and clean! I suggest the chicken legs! They are good. My brother swears by them!

Had the #4 - Chicken breast with 2 veggies and rolls. It was good!

The place has been remodeled and it is beautiful and the food was delicious we enjoyed eating there every chance that we get.

This place has great down home cooking and even has a drive through that's really fast for a smaller place. I ordered three meals and got them just a minute or two after I ordered. The black eyed peas are wonderfully seasoned and served with sliced okra, the fried okra was fried just right and the fried catfish was too. The only reason this place didnt get a perfect rating was because the batter could use a touch more seasoning, but it was filling, affordable, and the staff was friendly, if your hungry for down home cooking that's affordable and tasty, Pop's is the place for you!

Best food ever. I love every thing on the menu especially the chicken and dressing. Staff is amazing and priced great.

I loveeeeeee this place!! I grew up eating here and now my babies are growing up eating it as well!! ALL of their food is so amazing and the prices are even better!! My fav is the turkey dressing and gravy🤤🤤🤤so amazing!!

The service was excellent, and they were busy ,fried chicken was fabulous. We got the 20 piece, w/2 sides. Went to Quinlan to see my brother and his family. It was still hot🤗. We were very happy with everything about this place

Average food from a below average brick n mortar building. I've lived in Terrell since the 80's and remember the "pops" from then. Food is decent but not something to brag about. Good selection of different foods, but beware food has been on that table far longer than 4 hours ( which by food regulations) is beyond time to throw away. Dirty tables are through out the entire place. Staff playing around more than working.

Oh my god, this place is SO GOOD!! I’m pretty sure they are related to the infamous, “Babe’s” chicken restaurant, because my last to-go order was packaged in boxes with the “Babe’s” label on the front. Also, the rolls and fried chicken definitely have that magical Babe’s flavor to them. This might be my new favorite fast food place in DFW!

Food is good there. But vegetables need to be at least a little warm!! Chicken wasn't even warm today.

This chicken was so good. Had it for lunch today. It was a bit hard to find because their address is wrong in Apple Maps. Would have gotten five stars except the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were a little bland. Could use a little seasoning. The fries chicken was absolutely perfect though as was the fried catfish. The corn bread was phenomenal too. All in all I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The fried chicken & fries are very good, but the cornbread dressing, & black eyed pea's were absolutely awful.

I would have like to see fresher food on there line of food. I may give them a 2nd chance when I come that way in the future.

This place is great. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is good. They already have everything prepared like a cafeteria. You can eat in, take it to go or go through the drive thru.

Man I forget how good it is from a standpoint of Home Cookin Cafe drive-thru small City. For what it is it's really consistently very good. Fair price as well. Get the breaded pork chops with broccoli cheese rice good

Tasty comfort food served cafeteria style. Large selection and good prices. You can even get it on the go in the drive-thru.

The drive thru lady was rude and didn't get gravy with my chicken strips. Fries tasted old.

You just can't beat Pop's for good Ol Southern Comfort food.

Love this place for value and speed. You ever have those times when you don't feel like cooking but you want some comfort food ? Pop's is the place you want to visit. The prices on the chicken and it comes with sides like mashed potatoes or green beans, dressing or potato salad. The best part is that these items are already cooked so you can eat there or get it to go.

In town for a funeral, went to this spot for dinner. It was well worth the chance on the name, had the fish, collard greens, sweet potatoes, and black eyed peas. Good home style cooking with flavor and taste, will be back next time I'm in Terrell. 👍👍

What can I say about Pop's Fried Chicken it's a great place to eat if you happen to be in the Terrell Texas area I recommend you stop being I do every time I pass by low price something like 7 Bucks not sure 3 piece chicken your home styles sides are you choosing that's what I had this last time every now and then I'll get the chicken gizzards and gravy I love those two haven't really eaten anything there that was bad I take your order and give you your food dine-in there's a cafeteria style line.

Great as usual, crispy golden chicken, fresh vegetables clean place to dine.
